The Foundation provides planning, operating, capital, and project grants.  To be eligible for a grant, applicants must be classified by the IRS as tax-exempt, nonprofit organizations.

Foundations can be most effective by concentrating their resources in a few areas.  This means we cannot support many worthy projects outside our program interests. 

The first step in submitting a proposal for funding is to submit a two to four page letter of inquiry that describes your organization, the proposed project or use of funds, its relationship to our Foundation goals, and the amount of support requested.  Letters should be addressed to:

The Foundation will respond within 40 days of receiving your letter, either to decline funding or to share instructions for submitting a full proposal.
